Situated in an upmarket private holiday complex in a quiet area close to the much busier main resort of Puerto del Carmen, called Matagorda.

Stunning views across the island and out to sea from the complex
due to its elevated position.

Particularly good quality comfortable accommodation for a couple. Very good sized bedroom with a new king size bed, large bathroom with double walk-in shower, dining table and chairs and an attractive lounge area with sofa and coffee table.

In the kitchen there is an electric hob (no oven facility), microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetaire and all the cooking utensils,
crockery, glasses etc that you will need.

The flat screen TV in th lounge has free satelite TV and
English stations including BBC1, BBC2,ITV and Channel 4.

(NB The double sofa bed in the lounge offers the opportunity to sleep additional adults or one/two children.)

There is free wireless connection in the apartment for anyone wishing to take their laptop on holiday to keep in touch.

The complex is gated and locked at night with access only to guest of the complex.

There is an attractive complex reception area with comfortable chairs. tables and internet access through a static PC (small cost to use).

Passing through this area takes you to the apartments, pool and terraces.

The complex has attractively shaped solar-heated pools including one for children.

The vast Matagorda beaches and sea are just a few minutes walk away.

There are very spacious areas for sunbathing and relaxing and a plentiful supply of complimentary sunbeds around the patio and pool areas.

Our apartment is close to the pool - set slightly to one side providing a little privacy from the pool 'action' and a little peace if you are sitting on the apartment’s patio having a quiet drink!
An envious position indeed.

In fact this apartment was particularly chosen as its position is superb!

The patio of the property faces south, meaning that from late morning until the sun goes down, it is sunny, sunny, sunny! 

Great for the day time and really important if you want to extend your day by winding-down with a drink on the patio during the early evening hours.

In addition to the main accommodation and patio there is a second patio area bordered by a small low-walled garden. This is additional space that upper floor apartments do not have - This area is a real suntrap.

The apartment has table and chairs for you to spend as much time as possible enjoying the outside atmosphere. Both patiois overlook attractive garden areas of the main complex which are planted with tropical trees and plants and even a lemon tree.

The complex is very well maintained. This is reflected by active management to ensure a high quality environment at all times.

Nearby you will find bus stops and a taxi rank. There is a small supermarket is only a few minutes walk to the right of the complex.
A large supermarket and other shops are about 5 minutes walk
as is the beach.

You do not need a car to stay at this resort, however,
having a car would enable you to see more of the island,
please do consider this, even for a few days.

When arriving at the airport, Matagorda is the nearest resort and the cheapest to reach by taxi. Within no time at all you will be settled into your holiday home for the duration of your holiday and sitting on the patio with a glass of something which will be waiting in the fridge for your arrival, with our compliments!

There are lots of bars and restaurants local to the complex. About 5 minutes walk will take you to a tourist-designed area with restaurants, shops, supermarkets, bars etc, too many to list.

Walking a little further, will take you to a larger selection of restaurants and bars right on the sea front, overlooking the Matagorda beach.

This area of the resort is also the quietest.
No nightclubs on your doorstep here!

For a few Euros, you can hop in a taxi towards the lively resort of Puerto del Carmen. This is the main resort area where there are literally dozens and dozens of cocktail bars, restaurants, night clubs and snack bars for you to try out.

There are also numerous shops selling almost anything you can think of.

Or, you could drive (if you hire a car) or get a bus or cab to Puerto Calero, the next resort past Puerto del Carmen. This is a very upmarket resort and marina area, which has designer shopping areas (Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Armani etc) stylish restaurants
and beautiful boats for you to watch whilst fine dining.
