"We fell in love with the island of Lanzarote 25 years ago enjoying countless holidays with our family and friends. We find it magnetic. We return many times each year as do our children, now young professionals, to enjoy all year sunshine and the relaxing Spanish way of life.

In our opinion, the island caters for an international market of couples and families. Flights are still reasonably priced particularly if you book in advance and lots of airlines fly from a variety of airports.

Known as the 'jewel of the Canaries' Lanzarote is the quietest and most undeveloped of the three main Canary Islands with low rise buildings and authentic villages, you will find original culture and traditions still evident.

Life within the well-known tourist areas mainly centres on international restaurants and bars. Elsewhere you will find local tapas bars and genuine restaurants where the atmosphere is Spanish and laid-back.

Houses and apartments across the island are mostly one or two stories high and have been built tastefully within the keeping of the island.
